CT-PET scans of the brain to detect Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias are available at Boone Hospital Center and Fitzgibbon Hospital. Patients who may have a possible dementia but have an unclear diagnosis may benefit from the CT-PET exam. Your physician must order the test.
