Vascular and Interventional Radiology

Dr. Maxwell Lazinger is a board-certified vascular and interventional radiologist. He is proficient in many endovascular procedures including stenting, endografts and embolizations, as well as regional tumor therapy such as chemoembolization and radiofrequency ablations. His practice also includes uterine artery embolization as well as pain management procedures such as vertebroplasty and steriod injections.

Dr. Lazinger came to Radiology Consultants and Boone Hospital Center from Sinai Hospital of Baltimore where he was Director of Vascular & Interventional Radiology and where he served as a Clinical Instructor to Johns Hopkins Medical Center Surgical Residents. A graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Dr. Lazinger received surgical training at Georgetown University Hospital, and radiology training at Lahey Clinic Medical Center. He was an Interventional Fellow at the Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute in Florida.

Dr. Lazinger has received numerous honors for his work and is the author of publications related to vascular and interventional radiology. In Dr. Lazinger’s spare time he enjoys playing the guitar, riding his bicycle and spending time with his family.
